The Edmonton Area Rabbit Society ensures all their members are proven reputable and responsibly breeders/members. At no time does E.A.R.S. support unethical breeding & sale of rabbits especially at Easter when they are a novelty. Please consider that a rabbit can be a 12 year commitment and be ready to spay and neuter your PET!

E.A.R.S. is available to offer support to the Edmonton Humane Society with regard to any large seizure of rabbits including the most recent of approximately 500 animals reported on March 29th. We would like to thank Ryan Ellis of Global News for allowing our voice to be heard during this difficult time.

E.A.R.S. is not a rescue society but we have MANY friendly members who are more than happy to answer your questions regarding rabbit care, behavioural issues, breeding and health issues. Please contact an Executive member (Contact Us Page) and if we are unable to answer your questions, we will forward you on to someone who can! We are not only a group of "breeders" but a group of friends, pet owners and enthusiasts who all look to a common goal of educating the public and having fun with displays and shows.
